Mehdi Zeinali
Director

Mehdi has over 10 years of experience in building services consultancy and project management across a diverse range of projects and sectors. His design background lies in the Mechanical and project lead for multi-disciplinary projects; with a focus on complex projects that require extensive coordination.
Mehdi is a client driven professional who ensures clients’ needs are met at every stage of the project, offering value for money solutions and providing insight on CAPEX and OPEX as well as maintenance requirements.

David Rabbani
Director

David has more than 16 years professional work experience in electrical engineering design with an extensive experience in public and private companies in Australia and overseas. He has accomplished a variety of projects for residential, commercial, retail, educational, sport complexes and high rises.
David has a thorough working knowledge of the Australian Standards and the BCA, he understands the services interfaces and what it takes to provide a cost effective, compliant, cost-effective design solution. 

Esmat Shojaee
Director

Esmat's 20-years experience as a Fire Protection Engineer covers a wide range of areas within the Construction/Building Services/Oil & Gas industry. She possesses the skills to design effective fire protection systems. Her expertise ensures that the fire protection systems are tailored to meet the specific needs of each project while adhering to the relevant codes and standards.
Esmat has been involved in major projects including mixed use buildings, residentials, aged care buildings, hotels, retails, schools, detention Centre, tunnels and train stations. 

Saman Abdi
Director

Saman started his career as a mechanical engineer in an international EPC contractor in Tehran, Iran. There, he was involved in a range of national and international projects which allowed him to develop his technical and engineering knowledge as well as improve his capacity to understand infrastructure and construction site works in great depth.
He immigrated to Australia in 2014 and since then is responsible for the management of project delivery for all phases of different projects from start to finish, including interdisciplinary coordination, stakeholder liaison and management of sub-consultants. He has been involved in design of Hydraulics services for significant projects across Sydney including high rise mixed-use, prisons, aged care facilities, aquatic centers, schools, commercial buildings, retail, and tenancy fit outs.

Chathu Senanayke
Senior Mechanical Engineer

Chathu has over 7 years of experience in local building services consultancy across a diverse range of projects. His design background lies in the Mechanical services with a focus on residential, commercial, sports & aquatic centres, aviation, retail & tenancy fit outs, and education. His experience has allowed him to have a deep technical understanding of mechanical services and a client focus approach to projects.

Farbod Rabbani
Under Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Farbod is our undergraduate Engineer currently studying bachelors of mechanical engineering in Australia and started his work as an undergraduate and intern engineer at Surex from early 2023. He is our youngest employee at Surex and helping us in various fields as possible but mostly learning and improving in mechanical section with Chathu and Mehdi as his tutors. Eager to improve and grow in engineering consulting industry he is the new and future generation of Surex.
